How did you organize workforce planning before R&R?

Before implementing R&R, we managed our staff scheduling using a custom Excel spreadsheet. It covered only the basics, such as work hours and daily and weekly hours.

Why did you choose R&R?

We had been looking for a suitable solution for workforce scheduling for quite some time. After comparing various systems, R&R won us over with its clarity and, above all, how easy it is for our employees to use via the app.

Another key reason was that we finally wanted to do away with our paper-based administration. That could only be achieved with a good employee app.

What results have you achieved?

After a brief adjustment period, our employees' satisfaction levels rose significantly. They were able to enter their appointments at any time and from anywhere. In addition, their working hours were tracked down to the minute, eliminating any ambiguity.

This also made our store managers' day-to-day work much less hectic. Appointments could be entered directly, vacation schedules were visible well in advance, and multiple people could work on the schedule at the same time—even from home.

How did you find the implementation and collaboration?

The software rollout and the installation of the time-tracking terminals went smoothly. During the setup, Mr. Brüggemann took plenty of time to answer all of our questions in detail. Even afterward, we consistently received prompt responses, and any errors or incorrect settings were corrected immediately.

To this day, we receive reliable support whenever we have questions. In addition, every October we receive an Excel template for planning our vacations, which allows us to organize this process easily and efficiently.

What was the biggest difference in the first few months after the launch?

Employees with little experience using smartphones needed a little more support at first. After this brief adjustment period, however, the benefits quickly outweighed the challenges:

• No more paper slips for days off, vacation requests, or training sessions.
• Significantly fewer inquiries about whether requests or appointments have been received.
• The work schedules are available to all employees at any time.
• Inquiries and calls regarding work hours dropped to nearly zero.
• Better control of working hours through time tracking.

Why would you recommend R&R? What types of companies is this solution suitable for?

I would recommend R&R primarily to companies in the food retail industry. I can't say as much about other industries.

I recommend R&R because the system is easy to use for business owners, managers, and employees alike. The employee app is excellent and offers all the essential features.

The reports on key metrics and time-tracking data are also clearly organized and can be exported in various formats.
