In this issue: More insights into vacations & what's next?
Earlier this month, the updated vacation overview went live briefly in the R&R Job App. During this go-live, the intended improvement was not immediately apparent to everyone due to changes in the layout.
To avoid confusion as much as possible, we’ve decided to roll back the release so we can make some adjustments first, making it clearer to employees where they stand. For example, the new view—like the current one—will display all your vacation requests immediately upon opening. We’ll also show your current vacation balance and your expected balance at the end of the year. This makes it immediately clear where the employee stands. The employee can then click through to the vacation details and see the changes right in the app!
We will make these adjustments again in the coming weeks.
At the moment, the R&R Job App primarily offers features that are needed from the employees’ perspective. At R&R, we’re working on expanding the functionality for R&R users as well. Before the end of the year, you, as an R&R user, will be able to link your R&R Job App account to your R&R account. From then on, you’ll have instant insight into the KPIs for your store(s), distribution center(s), gas station(s), and/or department(s)—right on your phone. Curious about what was achieved yesterday? Open the app and you’ll have instant access!
Of course, this is just the beginning; next year, among other things, we’ll make it possible to handle vacation requests and shift swap requests entirely through the app. And for all new features that R&R develops, we’ll evaluate whether they can also be put to good use through the R&R Job App.
At the turn of the year, we will provide further insights into the developments expected for the R&R Job App in 2025.
