R&R Product Update, December 6, 2022

Twice a month, we publish an update on interesting developments and improvements to our WFM system, R&R.

This issue covers, among other things, importing an HR file, Sunday premium pay for 2023, payroll transactions, R&R Insights at the department level, user management, as well as bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

Import an HR file into R&R

It has recently become possible to import an HR file into R&R. The import ensures that—if no automatic HR link is used—employee data does not have to be entered entirely by hand. Data that is not included in the file but is required by R&R can be added manually.

Sunday Surcharges for 2023 (and 2024)

As in 2022, the percentage of the Sunday premium in 2023 depends on the premium hours granted for 2021. For businesses that began implementing F&E last year, a lower baseline was often used to account for the period before F&E was implemented.

Our after-sales department will contact the relevant stores/franchises to request the correct percentage for 2023 and 2024 and enter it into R&R.

New in R&R: Billing Transactions

A lot has changed in the supermarket industry in recent years, especially when it comes to technology and the customer experience. Examples include self-scanning, online grocery ordering and pickup, and in-store delivery. These are incredibly useful additions for customers, but they also place different demands on staff scheduling.

To better align planning budgets with these needs,R&Ris introducingso-called “checkout streams.”By providing checkout data across various checkout streams, it is possible to distinguish between the different checkout points in a store and determine the appropriate budget for each.

Currently, you can only use the new checkout processes for budgets if you are using our latest point-of-sale link (POS3).

R&R Insights: Information on Department-Level Management and Insights into Payouts

Preparations for User Management

Lately, we’ve been working intensively on preparing the user management system. Not for ourselves, but for you! Early next year, we’ll begin rolling out the user management system in phases. This means you’ll be able to create new users for your store(s) yourself and, for example, remove employees who leave your company. In addition, adjusting access rights will be easier than ever with the new screens. Below is a preview of the user overview:

Bug Fixes and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Over the past few weeks, our teams have been busy fixing bugs and making (minor) quality-of-life improvements. These changes are all aimed at making your daily interaction with R&R even smoother. Among other things, we’ve made the following changes:
