We regularly publish updates on interesting developments and improvements to our WFM system, R&R. This issue focuses on our redesigned navigation.
Given daily price fluctuations, rising costs, and unpredictable purchasing behavior, daily sales may well differ from what was forecast three weeks earlier.
The budgets derived from these forecasts (Forecast) are therefore not always a reliable way to determine whether the actual hours worked and labor costs fall within the standard range. For this reason, R&R calculates the standard based on actual revenue and makes it available in R&R Insights. R&R Insights is an add-on module to the R&R Standard license.
We’ve been doing this on a weekly basis since last summer, but starting today (February 2, 2023 ), we’ll also be doing it on a daily basis. This will provide you with real-time information, allowing you to make quick adjustments when the situation calls for it. This way, you’ll have a handle on working hours and labor costs throughout the week and can still take action if necessary.
For Week 5 (of 2023)* and beyond, standard hours and standard labor costs at the daily level are now available in R&R Insights. These are updated daily as soon as the latest sales data is received via the point-of-sale (POS) integration.
Do you have a license to view R&R Insights by department? If so, the standards are also available by department.
*) No data is displayed for earlier weeks, with a note stating that this feature is available starting in Week 5. There are currently no plans to calculate the benchmarks retroactively.
