R&R Product Update, June 29, 2022

Twice a month, we publish an update on interesting developments and improvements in our WFM system, R&R. This issue covers revenue in the admin interface, an update on the additional security measures in R&R, bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, and flexible display and default settings in R&R Insights.

Changes to the Administrative Interface

After payment is determined, customers of the administration interface receive a data record containing both the payment data and the sales data for that week. Since sales data may be submitted late or unexpectedly corrected after payment has been determined, the administration interface now automatically re-exports the data whenever new sales data is received after payment has been determined.

Update: Additional Safety Measures at R&R

In our last newsletter, we announced that we had implemented additional security measures for R&R. The implementation of these measures is in full swing, and many users have already successfully updated their accounts. For the sake of completeness, here is the original message again:

Security is an ongoing priority at R&R WFM. For this reason, we recently began implementing additional security measures for R&R. These measures also have implications for you as a user. Below, we briefly explain what is currently in development and what this means for you:

Use of a Unique Email Address

Starting in the third quarter of 2022, you’ll be required to use a unique email address. This email address will be used to notify you when your password expires. This is already the case for many users, but some users are still using an email address that doesn’t actually exist. This will soon no longer be possible. An email address can only be used for one account.

Multi-factor authentication

With multi-factor authentication (MFA), users must use a smartphone in addition to their username and password to access R&R. This ensures that only you can log in with your credentials. Development is currently in full swing. MFA will be rolled out gradually over the course of the next quarter.

Note: These changes do not apply if you log in using Single Sign-On. If you are unsure whether they apply to you, please contact the Service Desk.

Flexible Display in R&R Insights

When it comes to data, the needs of different users are rarely the same, even when dealing with the same data. Some want to get a quick overview, while others want to compare different data points.
R&R Insights now meets these needs by allowing users to decide which data should be displayed on the screen. In the upcoming update, we’ll consolidate R&R Insights onto a single screen where the user is in control. Here’s a brief summary of the changes:

Adding or deleting a column, or changing the order of columns, is very easy using the new R&R Insights interface. The application remembers your selections, so you can start from the same view the next time you use it.

Would you like to view the total sales for the past few weeks? Or would you prefer to see them by store? You can switch between the two with a single click.

This feature is expected to be released on June 30.

Standard in R&R Insights

In addition to the display adjustments, additional data will be added to R&R Insights on June 30.
From that point on, it will be possible to view the hours and labor costs for “Standard (Actual).” These are the hours and labor costs from the standard system based on current revenue. Using this data, it’s easier than ever to determine whether a store is meeting the standard or whether it might need a little more attention.

This data is available starting in week 24. For earlier weeks, this data is not available and is displayed as 0. In the coming weeks, the benchmark values for the first weeks of 2022 will be made available retroactively. Older benchmark values are not provided in R&R insights.

Bug Fixes and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Over the past few weeks, our teams have been busy fixing bugs and making (minor) quality-of-life improvements. These changes are all aimed at making your daily interaction with R&R even smoother. Among other things, we’ve made the following changes:
