This issue focuses on the launch of the new R&R Job app, a look ahead to the final months of this year, as well as bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
It probably hasn't gone unnoticed: The rollout of the new version of the R&R Job app is in full swing. Over the past few weeks, all Android users have gradually been given the option to download the new version. And for iOS users, the update to the new version has been made available in the last few days.
To ensure a smooth rollout, we’ve decided to release the version gradually rather than all at once. Right now, anyone can install the latest version of the R&R Job App. Over the next week, users will be prompted to download the latest version. We will initiate this process on our end, but we will first give users time to install the latest version at a time of their choosing.
Once everyone is using the new version, new features can be released. For example, “Comments in the Work Schedule” will be available soon. Comments made in the work schedule in R&R will then also appear in the employee’s work schedule in the Job App.
Next up is the updated version of the “Time Clock in the App.” Employees will have more insight into what they’re clocking in the app. These two features are almost ready, but the Job App has to be fully live first before we can make them available to users!
Since November is just around the corner, we can take another look at the year 2023.
Earlier in this newsletter, we discussed the features that will be available in the Job App once we’ve migrated all users to the new version, but we’re not stopping there. In the coming months, we’ll also be working hard to improve the process of entering availability—for both employees and managers! For example, we’ll make it possible to approve availabilitys before they’re implemented in R&R, and employees will also be able to specify an effective date for their new availability.
We are also continuing to make progress in the area of integration. For example, this year we will enable you to define custom exports from Payout and R&R Insights. If a standard integration isn't possible, or if, for example, you need to export data to your own data warehouse, these new export options provide a solution.
For our clients operating in Germany, we are working intensively to improve annual leave entitlements, which, starting in 2024, will no longer need to be adjusted in the event of a transfer.
In addition, we will, of course, continue to improve the quality and user-friendliness of R&R.
Curious about 2024? Then keep an eye out for next month's newsletter!
Over the past few weeks, our teams have been busy fixing bugs and making (minor) quality-of-life improvements. These changes are all aimed at making your daily interaction with R&R even smoother. Among other things, we’ve made the following changes:
