R&R Roadmap Q2 2023

R&R Product Roadmap for Q2 2023

Earlier this year, we presented the topics planned for this year’s further development at R&R. In this newsletter, we’d like to take a closer look at the second quarter of this year, which has just begun, and give you an idea of what we’re currently working on.

Recurring Vacation

Our developers are currently working on a feature that will allow users to set up a recurring vacation, similar to how a recurring appointment is created. This is particularly needed in the Dutch market, where individual time-off arrangements are often managed using vacation hours.

One employee has every Friday off for the next eight weeks, another has every other Thursday off, and yet another has every Tuesday afternoon off, until the overtime “bank” is empty. From the employee’s perspective, this all makes sense, but of course it takes a lot of work to keep track of everything and manage it properly.

However, this feature will also be made available in Germany, which means, for example, that the “Leisure” leave type can be created for an employee on every third Tuesday of the week going forward.

Below is an example of what this might look like.

R&R Insights

We are currently expanding the development of our R&R Insights analysis tool to enable the data available within it to be automatically exported to external systems.

We understand that different information needs require different ways of presenting that information. Sometimes, this need isn’t even addressed in R&R. For such situations, we offer the option to export R&R Insights views to other systems. With a few simple steps, you can have data sent to your external system at specific times (e.g., after the payment calculation). Which systems will we support? More on this in the next update.

Are you curious about what R&R Insights can do and how it can help you make better, more targeted decisions based on data? Read all about R&R Insights here.

Daily Sales Forecasting

One of our teams is currently working on making the revenue plan adjustable on a daily basis after it has been approved, so that changes in market conditions can be better reflected in the hourly budgets.

To better respond to current events, it will be possible to adjust the sales forecast during the week and calculate new budgets based on that. The new budgets will then appear in the plan as the “current budget”; the original budget will not be overwritten, so it will always be clear on what basis the original plan was created.

Redesign of the R&R Job App

Flexibility and transparency are key priorities that we aim to strengthen with R&R. At the beginning of the year, we announced that we would be updating and improving the R&R Job App to streamline communication between employers and employees. We have now begun developing the new app. Below is a sneak peek at the progress we’ve made. We’ll keep you updated on the latest developments via our website and newsletter.

Do you contribute ideas when developing new features in R&R?

Would you like to contribute to the roadmap? We’re constantly testing our ideas together with our customers. Before we start developing new features, our UX designers talk to users to find out how we can best design them. Would you like to help? Let us know, and we’ll invite you to participate in user testing for future features.
